The EMC Resource Center is the administrative office for the Evangelical Mennonite Church Conference serving 36 churches in the Midwest and 44 missionaries around the world. Our mission is to expand the visible body of Christ through the planting of new churches and sending missionaries throughout the world.
While church planting efforts are largely US based, we have an active church planting effort in Venezuela and are planning a new church plant for Sao Paulo, Brazil to begin in 2003. We believe the Church is the hope of the world and we are actively seeking new church plants to impact local communities for Jesus Christ.
The Resource Center is also home base for International Ministries. This mission agency supports work on four continents in 13 different countries. Through the work of IM, missionaries stay connected to their support groups who pray for their work and send financial support.
Communication is a key component for the resource Center in keeping individuals and churches informed about the work of the Evangelical Mennonite Church. We greatly appreciate the efficient and professional work of Dawn Broda, Carolyn Cline, Mark Hutsell, and Dan Metzger of Fast Print for partnering with us in the enhancement of our communication efforts.
